We need more members for President

It's a little political game going on over at CYS, and we desperately need members. Otherwise, we're going to give up all that time we spent forming the two political parties, deciding which side of topics to stand for, and - most of all- all that time we spent on political debates.

If anyone's interested in the game, there are two political parties, both of which need at least one new member. There are the diamonds (which I'm in), who control three out of five states, and then there are the squares (which Cool's in) who control two out of five states. Right now the states have just picked sides, and it's still anyone's game. Here are where the two sides stand:

"Alright, so press release style, you release your information to the public. In essence, the two parties agree on the following topics:
Progressive Tax
Gay Rights
Legal Abortions
Partially subsidized health care
Partially subsidized education
Welfare Programs
Social Programs
Education and then Health as primary budget choices
Some things are illegal to say
Renewability is the least important piece to the budget

The parties disagree on the following topics:
1. The Diamonds are opposed to the death penalty, while the Squares agree on it.
2. The Diamonds want permit-only gun control, the Squares are mostly relaxed (no assault rifles, etc.)
3. The Diamonds would like to join the World Assembly, while the Squares are isolationists and don't care about other nation's politics.
4. Between budgeting for agriculture and transit, the Diamonds would allocate more money to the transportation sector, while the Squares would allocate more money to the Agriculture sector.
5. Between budgeting or military and social security, the Diamonds would allocate more money to the Social Security sector, while the Squares would allocate more to the military sector."

Also, because only one person can be President and Vice President, others can be elected governor.

So what is it, like a series of debates? How exactly does this work? Also, include a link in case anyone wants to go check it out.

You have no idea how freakin annoyed I am right now. I just typed two lengthy paragraphs on how things work and what steps on we're on and searched the forum for different threads... TWICE! Then through some sort of computer mixup, I was redirected to another page, and everything was lost. So, I'm gonna go barebones here, if you need to see more than this the info's in the links.

Although debates were a big part of it, they're not the whole thing. First 3J had to to decide which parties to sort us into based on a survey we took, and then the two parties had to vote on which stance to take on topics (at least the Diamonds voted, I'm sure the Squares did too), and finally we had to choose who would debate what topic via each party's private chatroom (so you don't know who you're debating against). Unfortuantely, it stopped after the last debate due to our lack of players. All of 3J's algorithims which base how each person in the states choose their party and how the reputation system works were based on a system consisting of at least a 6v6 format, so we need to find new players. Once you're there, you can just poke around in the threads for the individual debates, trust me, they're not hard to find

Oh, and it's not entirely debates, although they play a major part. If the third stage ever comes to pass you will be using debates, political promises, slander, and other politcal tools to persuade the people in each state for your team or against the other team.

I would actually say it is more of a political simulator.
